Dungeon Overview
The Dungeon is a free-to-play, browser-based idle RPG where you build up your character, gather loot, and craft powerful items—all at your own pace. Whether you’re active or away, your character keeps progressing, earning rewards and resources.
- Idle Progression: Set your actions and let your character battle, gather, and craft automatically.
- Stats & Skills: Improve your attributes and specialize in professions to unlock new npc's and gear'.
- Loot & Crafting: Defeat monsters, collect loot, and craft equipment to grow stronger.
- Resource Management: Manage your health, stamina, and action points to maximize your efficiency.
- Rewards: Earn PED and Dungeon Crates by completing tasks, offers, and crate hunts.
You start with 100 Health and 100 Stamina. Health is used in combat; stamina is needed for crafting and gathering. Both refill by completing crate hunts (hourly), offerwall tasks, or using potions.
Action Points (AP): Every action consumes AP. You begin with 100 AP, and each task repeats every 3 seconds until you run out of AP, health, stamina, or resources. AP refills when you manually start a new task or purchase boosts.
Premium Status: Complete 50 crates worth of offers in 30 days to become Dungeon Premium and unlock PED drops. Otherwise, you remain Dungeon Standard and are ineligible for PED drops.
Attributes
Your character’s attributes define their core strengths and abilities in combat, crafting, and gathering. Improving these stats will help you survive longer, deal more damage, and become more efficient in every activity.

- Stamina: Used for crafting, mining, and woodcutting. (Base: 100)
- Damage: The range of damage you deal to enemies. (Base: 1-1)
- Woodcutting/Mining Damage: Specialized damage for gathering resources. (Base: 1-1 each)
- Armor: Chance to block incoming damage. (Base: 0, 30% block chance)
- Dodge: Chance to avoid attacks entirely, checked before armor. (Base: 0%)
- Accuracy: Chance to hit enemies and resource nodes. (Base: 75%)
- Critical Chance: Chance to deal double damage. (Base: 5%)

- Crafting Chance: (Not implemented yet)
As you play, you’ll earn experience and get better gear to increase these attributes, making your character more powerful and versatile.
Skills
Skills represent your character’s expertise in various activities. As you perform actions, you earn Experience Orbs, which level up both your attributes and skills (from 1 to 100). Specializing in certain skills allows you to become more effective in your chosen playstyle.

- Jewlcrafting: Craft better rings and unlock higher tiers.
- Armorsmithing: Craft better armor and shields, unlock higher tiers.

Equipment
Your equipment determines your effectiveness in combat, gathering, and survival. Each item type offers unique benefits and can be upgraded for better performance. Here’s a quick overview:
- Weapons: Increase your damage in combat. Some weapons have special effects or bonuses.
- Shields (Offhand): Add armor for damage reduction. High-tier shields also provide a small damage bonus (Shield Bash).
- Armor: Boosts your armor stat, increasing your chance to block incoming damage. Some armors have special effects or bonuses
- Rings:
- Left Hand: Focuses on health-related bonuses.
- Right Hand: Focuses on stamina-related bonuses.
- Potions: Completely restore your health or stamina bars to full (for now).
- Keys: Used to access special areas of the dungeon. For example, a Tier 6 Key is required for certain high-level zone(s).
- Tools: (Axe, Pickaxe, etc.) Required for gathering resources like wood and ore. Higher quality tools improve efficiency and durability.
- Trinkets: Provide boosts in specific areas, such as increased experience, loot, or crafting success.
All crafted items have a durability rating. The higher the rarity, the less likely an item is to break when used. Weapons, armor, rings, tools, and trinkets each have unique break conditions based on their use.
Durability
All crafted items have a durability rating, which determines their average lifespan. The higher the quality, the less likely an item is to break when used. Durability is always a chance: even a Legendary item could break on its first use, while a Rusty item might last much longer than expected. The numbers below show the average uses per rarity, but actual results will vary.
- Rusty: ~25 uses on average (1 in 25 chance to break per use)
- Normal: ~100 uses on average (1 in 100 chance to break per use)
- Great: ~1,000 uses on average (1 in 1,000 chance to break per use)
- Imperial: ~10,000 uses on average (1 in 10,000 chance to break per use)
- Marquise: ~100,000 uses on average (1 in 100,000 chance to break per use)
- Royal: ~5,000,000 uses on average (1 in 5,000,000 chance to break per use)
- Legendary: ~100,000,000 uses on average (1 in 100,000,000 chance to break per use)
- Eternal: Indestructible
When Items Can Break
- Battle Group (Weapons & Shields): Chance to break on every used action during a battle instance.
- General Group (Left & Right Rings): Chance to break on every used action, regardless of activity.
- Woodcutting Group (Axes): Chance to break on every used action in a woodcutting instance.
- Mining Group (Pickaxes): Chance to break on every used action in a mining instance.
- Keys: Chance to break upon successfully defeating an NPC or gathering a resource in an area that requires a key.
-
Trinkets: Chance to break on specific actions:
- XP Trinkets – Chance to break when experience is gained.
- Crafting Trinkets – Chance to break on every crafting attempt.
- Lootius Trinkets – Chance to break on every loot attempt.
Remember: Durability is always a chance, not a guarantee!
Resource Gathering
Resource gathering is a core part of Dungeon progression. There are three main gathering skills: Mining, Woodcutting, and Salvaging.
-
Mining & Woodcutting: Use tools like axes and pickaxes to collect resources. Each skill has rare resources—Mithril for Mining, and four Elemental Essences for Woodcutting. Choose which resource to gather from the dropdown menu. Some nodes (like essence wells and mithril stones) require more stamina and are best attempted with durable gear or a large supply of tools.
-
Salvaging: Break down crafted items to recover some of the materials used. Salvaging is the only low level way to obtain Divine Essence, which is required for crafting higher-tier equipment. The amount of Divine Essence and other materials you recover depends on the item's quality and tier, as well as your Salvaging skill. Higher skill reduces the chance of failure and increases returns.
Dungeon Coins are earned through Dungeon crates and are used to craft keys. Keys are required to access special areas of the dungeon, such as high-level zones (e.g., Tier 6 Key).
Loot: Every time you defeat a mob, there is a chance to loot PED (the in-game currency) in addition to normal loot and extra materials. Looted PED can sometimes be multiplied, especially against stronger mobs. The amount you can loot depends on the size of the loot pool, which grows as players complete offerwall tasks or redeem points from Cheddar.tv and Hideout.tv. More completed offers increase both the pool size and the maximum lootable amount.
PED Crates
PED Crates are earned by crate hunts or completing offers. Opening a PED Crate awards a random amount of PED based on the following chances:
PED Crate Loot Chances
| Reward |
Chance |
| 0.01 PED | 98.17631600% |
| 0.05 PED | 1.47264500% |
| 0.1 PED | 0.24544100% |
| 1 PED | 0.09817600% |
| Reward |
Chance |
| 10 PED | 0.00490900% |
| 100 PED | 0.00245400% |
| 500 PED | 0.00004900% |
| 1000 PED | 0.00001000% |
Dungeon Crates
Dungeon Crates are special rewards you receive for completing offers. For every 25 PED Crates you earn from offers, you also receive 1 Dungeon Crate (for example, earning 100 PED Crates will grant you 4 Dungeon Crates). Dungeon Crates contain trinkets that provide boosts, such as increased experience orbs, more loot, crafting boosts, and dungeon coins.
